A great drawing of MICKEY MOUSE! These early ones are quite rare. It is from Walt Disney’s Mickey’s Elephant from 1936. Pluto is in the short as well. It was directed by Dave Hand. One of Disney’s Nine Old Men even worked on this short: Frank Thomas – it was his first! There’s what appears to be 3 initials on the drawing, but we can’t figure out who it is. The sheet is 5-peghole animation paper and is toned warm yellow with age. We grabbed a screen cap from the section (see above) – it might not be the exact moment, he’s bouncing pretty fast. I attended a Disney Fine Arts event in 2011. &#######xA0; Tim Rogerson is one of the most collectible Disney artists in the field. &#######xA0; I have watched his prices go up every year. &#######xA0; He is frequently invited to signings and his limited edition prints sell out quickly and his open edition prints do very well too. &#######xA0; I love his work. &#######xA0; THIS IS THE ORIGINAL PAINTING. &#######xA0; They always do the prints in a different size so not to confuse a nice giclee with the real deal. The measurements that I have in the item specifics are the measurements with the frame. I also did not check off personalized because to me that means my name would be on it and it is not. &#######xA0; However on the back (as shown in the photos) there is a hand drawing of Mickey and some hand written entries. &#######xA0; It was framed so these things would show.
