ITEM DETAILS: This is a collectible Limited Edition Disney Cardew “Mickey Mouse” teapot. The teapot was designed by Master Potter Paul Cardew in his studio in the Devon countryside in England. He is acknowledged as the foremost designer of collectible teapots in the world today. The teapot is hand cast and decorated, and twice fired in a production process that takes five days. This Walt Disney limited edition pin set is limited to 2500, with 250 artist proofs. A Walt Disney Company model sheet is what animators used to help bring the characters to life. This limited edition pin set entitled “Mickey and Minnie model sheets” was inspired by various Mickey and Minnie model sheets used by Walt Disney animators through the years. The techniques used in the production of this addition and the proof there are proof by the Walt Disney company. Packaged and exclusively produced by the Walt Disney Company in 1999 it is a great piece to add to any collection. This is number 469 out of 2500. NOTE THIS IS A RARE AUTHENTICITY MISPRINT WHICH STATES THERE ARE ONLY 2000 PROOFS PRODUCED, WHEN IN FACT THERE ARE 2500. Comes in its original gold frame and measures approx 16″h x 18.25″ w.
