RARE JIM SHORE DISNEY TRADITIONS MICKEY MOUSE LONESOME GHOST SPOOKED FIGURINE. THIS RARE AND NOW RETIRED FIGURE APPROXIMATELY 7 TALL FIGURINE SHOWS MICKEY MOUSE BEING FOLLOWED BY THE LONESOME GHOST AS PORTRAYED IN THE LONESOME GHOST MOVIE IN 1937 BEAUTIFULLY CAPTURED BY THE INCREDIBLE JIM SHORE. THIS IS A VERY RARE PRE RELEASE THAT WAS A SAMPLE GIVEN FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES TO STORES. THIS IS NOW LONG RETIRED AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND. TO MANY PEOPLE THIS IS SEEN AS A HOLY GRAIL TO FIND. AS IT WAS A PRE RELEASE SAMPLE IT DOESNT HAVE A BOX AND HAS A MODEL NUMBER ON IT’S BASE WHICH IS 4051979.
This is the rare version where the figures are made out of celluloid and tin. As you can see from the pictures, this whole set is in an excellent condition. It is very exciting opening the box and seeing the toy in almost the same condition it would have been when it was new! The two cardboard pieces are in excellent condition. One cardboard piece has a loose staple (see picture). Minnie mouse has her nose missing, but mickey’s is still there. All the rail tracks are there. The hand cart is maybe missing the bell at the top? Im not sure, as i have seen examples with and without it. This comes with a key that looks original. When the cart is wound up nothing happens. This will need looking at and repairing. I have not tested the handcart on the rail. When you push the cart by hand, mickey and minnie’s hands move up and down and a bell sound rings. It looks like there is a hollow bell underneath the handcart that cause the bell to ring when struck. Box is marked at the front with the Wells O London trade mark and the Brimtoy Brand. It also has “By permission Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd Made in England”. There is a black mark on the lid and the box has some rips and damage. The inside of the lid has some writing in pencil. Still very rare to have it and still in a great vintage condition. Please zoom into the pictures to see the condition and anything else that i may have forgotten to mention. This is your chance to own a historic toy that belongs in a museum. This would make a great gift or to add to your collection! A very rare Bossons Disney Mickey Mouse wall plaque. There is damage – to the leg in particular, which is only just hanging on really, and some other slight chips, and flakes to the paint as seen in the photographs. It is 9.25 high, and displays well, but well worth getting professionally restored. My items are always either sourced from auctions and estate sales to be loved once again, or is made from repurposed materials into items people will cherish for many more years. I also believe that the excitement starts when the parcel is delivered.

This is a very rare and early Walt Disney title in comic strip cartoon style format with 3 or 4 strips to each page in black and white, light stain marks to the page edges of the final 10 pages. He was also the original voice of Mickey Mouse from 1928 to 1947 and again from 1955 and 1962. He also did the original voices of Minnie Mouse and Pete as well.
