This is the rare version where the figures are made out of celluloid and tin. As you can see from the pictures, this whole set is in an excellent condition. It is very exciting opening the box and seeing the toy in almost the same condition it would have been when it was new! The two cardboard pieces are in excellent condition. One cardboard piece has a loose staple (see picture). Minnie mouse has her nose missing, but mickey’s is still there. All the rail tracks are there. The hand cart is maybe missing the bell at the top? Im not sure, as i have seen examples with and without it. This comes with a key that looks original. When the cart is wound up nothing happens. This will need looking at and repairing. I have not tested the handcart on the rail. When you push the cart by hand, mickey and minnie’s hands move up and down and a bell sound rings. It looks like there is a hollow bell underneath the handcart that cause the bell to ring when struck. Box is marked at the front with the Wells O London trade mark and the Brimtoy Brand. It also has “By permission Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd Made in England”. There is a black mark on the lid and the box has some rips and damage. The inside of the lid has some writing in pencil. Still very rare to have it and still in a great vintage condition. Please zoom into the pictures to see the condition and anything else that i may have forgotten to mention. This is your chance to own a historic toy that belongs in a museum. This would make a great gift or to add to your collection!
