Description A charming and less commonly seen Disney Traditions figurine featuring Mickey Mouse as a teacher in “Class Act”, product code 4049634. Mickey stands proudly beside a traditional chalkboard, complete with his books and teacher’s pointer, making this a particularly lovely piece for Mickey Mouse collectors. The school and teaching theme also makes it a wonderful gift for a teacher, teaching assistant or Disney-loving educator. Part of the Disney Traditions collection produced by Enesco, the figurine combines classic Disney character styling with the distinctive folk-art inspired detailing associated with the range. Dating from approximately 2015, Class Act has since been discontinued from production. It appears to be an unusually difficult design to find on the secondary market, with relatively few examples surfacing compared with many other Mickey Mouse Disney Traditions pieces. While this does not necessarily establish the figurine as rare, its limited current availability makes it an interesting piece for collectors looking for some of the less frequently encountered designs from the range. This example is particularly appealing as it retains both its original box and tag, with the figurine and box in excellent condition. At approximately 15cm (5.9 inches) high and 6.5cm (2.6 inches) wide, it is a lovely size for displaying individually or as part of a wider Mickey Mouse or Disney Traditions collection. Condition.
