It is very unusual to find a complete set of composition Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. This is the first time I have seen the set in their original carrying box. The original owner never played with the 9 dwarfs as she did not like them when she was a young girl. Thus they are intact, with very little crazing and no noticeable flaws. Their outfits are complete with bright colors and all accessories, including Doc’s paper glasses. The 12 Snow White did get played with, so recently had her hair and face redone. She still has her original dress, which has some minor repairs, a vintage slip and pantaloons, and oil cloth shoes. The ties have been replaced with ribbons in the shoes. The carrying box has been used as seen in the photos. There are no rips or tears, but some signs of wear and water stains commensurate with its age (1937). The inside of the box is intact with small containers for each of the dwarfs and the dolls. They are held in place with red elastic, which has stretched with age. The elastic was originally held with metal brackets, but is now held securely with staples and tacks. The dwarfs and dolls stay in their spots when the suitcase is latched shut. This set has been stored in a smoke free, pet free controlled environment. If you want to see more pictures, please let me know.
