Vintage MIckey Mouse and Donald Duck industrial cast metal molds for production of plastic toys. Both molds measure approximately 2 7/16 (6 cm) tall. Mickey´s base measures approximately 1 11/16″ (4 cm) wide and Donald´s 2″ (5 cm). These molds were filled with a liquid plastic compound. Once cooled, the finished part of the toy was removed from the mold. When worn down, metal molds were discarded and destroyed.
